Have you been to Bath and Body Works recently? It's one of those stores that I know I can count on for gifts if my creative gift giving ideas are facing a roadblock, but I don't usually seek stuff out to buy for myself there. I remember when they were very country-ish in their decor; checkered tablecloths, flowery scents abounded. Over the past few years, the brand has undergone a turnaround, where they've struck a balance with their own signature line and other brands. A couple years ago they seriously had too many 'other' brands and their own identity got lost in the shuffle.
Since I'm not a big fan of their flowery scents, one of my favorite brands at BBW is C.O. Bigelow. Love their mentha lip shines, but I found a new product that I'm coveting at the moment.
This Lemon and Lime Body Tonic was fun to spray at the store. It has a fresh lemony scent and feels great. I can imagine keeping this in the refrigerator and spraying this on in the summer after a hot day and just feeling refreshed. It is said to promote a more even skintone, but I can't say that for sure.
This skin-quenching body tonic is packed with the uplifting aroma of lemon and lime. A revitalizing spritz, it's formulated to refresh, brighten and tone while delicately scenting the skin.
$12 for 8 Fl. Oz,
My skin is terribly dry. I really need to moisturize every day, especially my legs. If I go more than 24 hours without lotioning, my legs start to resemble a dry desert. In the winter, I can wear pants to hide the dryness, but it certainly doesn't feel very good. Most of the time, I rely on a big bottle of Jergens lotion, since it's cheap and available at any store. However, I've discovered a new favorite from Fresh. This lotion is not cheap, at $28, but I love its consistency and moisturizing ability. It's also not too thick like many heavy moisturizers. I'm not a fan of flowery or sweet smells, this is simply called Milk. I don't know if it's really a strong portrayal of milk, but it's subtle enough that it won't overwhelm or compete with any other fragrance you might choose to add.
Milk is supposed to be a natural moisturizer, something about the proteins. Combined with shea butter, Fresh's Milk line of lotions are perfect for helping keep my dry skin away. It's available from Fresh's website or at Sephora.
