Have you been to Bath and Body Works recently? It's one of those stores that I know I can count on for gifts if my creative gift giving ideas are facing a roadblock, but I don't usually seek stuff out to buy for myself there. I remember when they were very country-ish in their decor; checkered tablecloths, flowery scents abounded. Over the past few years, the brand has undergone a turnaround, where they've struck a balance with their own signature line and other brands. A couple years ago they seriously had too many 'other' brands and their own identity got lost in the shuffle.
Since I'm not a big fan of their flowery scents, one of my favorite brands at BBW is C.O. Bigelow. Love their mentha lip shines, but I found a new product that I'm coveting at the moment.
This Lemon and Lime Body Tonic was fun to spray at the store. It has a fresh lemony scent and feels great. I can imagine keeping this in the refrigerator and spraying this on in the summer after a hot day and just feeling refreshed. It is said to promote a more even skintone, but I can't say that for sure.
This skin-quenching body tonic is packed with the uplifting aroma of lemon and lime. A revitalizing spritz, it's formulated to refresh, brighten and tone while delicately scenting the skin.
- Skin-quenching aromatic formula that delicately scents the skin
- Revitalizing spritz formulated to refresh, brighten and tone
- Light and fresh zesty scent is perfect for warmer weather
- Developed by Bigelow Chemists
- Not tested on animals

A manicure is a luxury I wish I could afford every few weeks. On my limited budget though, I end up indulging in one maybe 3 or 4 times a year, before a big event or at the holidays. In between visits, I try to recreate the spa experience on a budget. This scrub from Bath and Body Works gives you soft hands in one minute. It really does! The scent is this yummy orange, but not too overpowering.

This jar is 5 ounces, but you use so little, it'll last you a long time! The consistency is pretty thick, but the exfoliating scrub stuff (yeah, real technical terms here!) tends to settle at the bottom, so you'll have to dig into the tub to get the good stuff.

You can sort of see the beads in the jar here.
I would add a little water to the scrub to spread it around more easily; then rub your hands together (or have someone else do it - there's the massage!). You'll end up with...

Now rinse and you'll have wonderfully soft hands. Finish with lotion for a silky smooth finish. This Qtica Intense Total Hydrating Therapy lotion just sinks into the hand, leaving them super soft.

Pricing: The True Blue Spa Scrub is normally $12, but I'd usually wait for a special to combine it with another product (2 for $20 currently).
The Qtica lotion was a gift with purchase of Zoya nail polishes from the Art of Beauty. a 6 ounce bottle, just 1 more than this 'free' tube, is $16.
So even if you bought both items at full price, that's $32, approximately the cost of 2 regular manicures. I guarantee this will last you much longer than that.
Here's a picture of hands BEFORE the scrub and.... AFTER

The red, flaky skin is smooth!
